Mixed Media #1

A mixed media page for a new project. I am thinking about adding some words but haven't decided what to write yet. That's the beauty of art - it is a process.
As a background I used a page from a magazine and transfered it to a 6x6'' white cardstock. Then I added acrylic paint and stamped on the page. Love this way of creating.

The lovely Miss Anna

This is a layout featuring my brother's lovely girlfriend Anna. I have used paper from a collection by Teresa Collins, Tim Holtz tissue tape and letters, rhinestones and stamps. I especially love the definition transparency on the left (also by Teresa Collins) and the Queen Bee-Stamp on the right.   

Ever had a bath in the kitchen sink? Well, I have as you can see on the picture. For this layout I've used papers from My Mind's Eye's collection Follow your heart, misted with tattered angels' riptide, stained with tim holtz white distress stain, added some washi tape and text - tada - done! 

My mom

Finally I finished a new layout featuring my mom! I used some of my Design Kit that Pia gave me. Check out her store she just got a new delivery!

The paper comes from the lovely Bo Bunny Country Garden Collection and the colors are beautifully bright and springish. The clocks are Teresa Collins, for the text I used rub ons. I also added some pink fancy pants paper to get the girly feeling plus some heart brads.

My boyfriend

And here it comes... the first layout ever with my boyfriend on it! I figured I only had layouts with the two of us and none with only him so here it comes. I think he likes it even if I put flowers on it. In my defence they are cut in halfs and look really edgy and kind of  rusty since they blend in perfectly with the Tim Holtz metal bits and pieces. I love the Tim Holtz letters, stamps, fragments, tissue tape, pen nibs, game spinners, mini paper clips and trinket pins! The supersplash in the left corner is also made with a Tim Holtz product, i.e. the Distress Stain in weathered wood. The mini letters are by Kaisercraft, the paper comes from Teresa Collins' On the edge Collection.

La vida loca

My boyfriend asked me today if I didn't want to upload any layouts with the two of us. (I think what he meant to say was "I wanna be on your blog".) So, this is us living la vida loca and having fun. The picture was taken in December 2010 hence quite a while ago... time for new pics and layouts!

Joy

Two of the most precious persons in my life are my mormor and morfar, grandma and grandpa. These pictures were taken on a shopping tour in Hyllinge. My granny said I was crazy to take pictures in a grocery store but I think they both enjoyed doing something crazy. ;) 

The paper is Fancy Pants, letters from Tim Holtz and Kaisercraft. Some glimmer mist by Tattered Angels, splashes done with distress ink and tissue tape. 

OMG I'm in L O V E with my new journal/mini album! I got inspired by Miss Rebecca Grinder who created this amazing mini album. The minute I saw it I knew I had to make one on my own. Like Rebecca, I used Pink Paislee's Daily Junque Collection for the pages. There's also some paper from Pink Paislee's Soiree Collection in it on which I printed some quotes I like. The diamond on the wire is also Soiree. The plan is to fill the pages with memories yet to happen this year. This was a perfect opportunity to use my beloved Bind it all Zutter machine which very patiently has been waiting to be used. I must confess that I've been a bit scared to punch since I feared to destroy my creations. But thanks to youtube and a very helpful tutorial everything worked out nicely. Thank God for the internet! Now, if you'll just excuse me, I got to get back to adore my cute little mini album. ♥   

Time to scrap!

Nu är det dags att skapa. Har handlat hos Pia idag och nu ska jag sätta mig med en chai latte och scrappa loss med dessa underbara papper från My Mind's Eye. Kollektionen heter Follow your Heart - Be Amazing och det finns helt underbara brads och paper clips samt Transparancy Frames som kommer att passa alldeles underbart till mitt scrapprojekt.

The dynamic Duo in action. I think it is obvious whom of us is the more forward funny kind of person. This picture was taken in Kiel, summer 2009 eating subways - yummi! The title is taken from one of my favorite movies. It pretty much sums up my relationship to Nicki. Here I have used a Tim Holtz stamp about friendship above the picture, fragments, a sprocket gear, tissue tape and some flowers. The ink's color is broken china on Pink Paislee Soiree paper. The Dynamic Duo strikes back

Whenever my BFF Nicki & I meet, we merge into The Dynamic Duo. Pictures were taken in Halmstad, September 2010. We always have so much fun together! For this layout I have used a lot of Pink Paislee paper and supplies. The paper comes from the Daily Junque Collection. The most beautiful color to be misted ever must be Riptide by Tattered Angels. L o v e it! (Unfortunately I misted our heads as well having so much fun being all creative and committing to the mist...) The clock transparency is by Teresa Collins. 

I made this layout when I visited with my BFF Ramona in the South of Germany. With her, there is no limit to fun and inspiration!

In 2010, my scrapbuddy & BFF Nicki was in Halmstad. We bought one scrapkit each by Teresa Collins that included lots of lovely papers of her Freestyle Collection. Here are some layouts belonging to the minialbum that I created. As usual, I have added Tim Holtz supplies such as tissue tape, mini paper clips and alpha parts (Newsprints). Rhinestones, heart-shaped brads and black mini alpha stickers by Kaisercraft are also on my all-time favorites-list.

On this last layout I used one of Lady Gaga's awesome quotes: "Don't be a drag just be a queen" which matches the feather stola and my crown perfectly I think.

This is a 12x12 layout I created with paper from the BoBunny Mama-razzi collection (I totally ♥ this collection!) and some scraps from Pink Paislees Butterfly Garden collection. The letters, the tissue tape and the butterfly stamp on the left are Tim Holtz. The clocks transparencies are Teresa Collins. The picture was taken in summer 2011 - some weeks before I scrapped the layout, I had seen the movie "thankyouhappymoreplease" which is where the title came from.
